Angels are among us, they are unknown figures in our daily lives, who know only the religion of good.
There are Angels of the road, eyewitnesses of life and messengers of change, and many others, guardians of the people, or bringers of light, angels of the law and colours, among us and looking like everybody else. There are cool and also harmless Angels, the awakening good consciences ones.
There’s also an Angel of death always present; someone says it despenses justice, but it’s not always that.
Whoever kills a baby, kills an angel.
These angels are by Anton Maria Maragliano (1664-1739) in high Monferrato and in Ligurian seaside parishes.
The white angel of death is by Giulio Monteverde (1837-1917)
